What Barton House Memory Care Is Looking For: A true food lover who's ready to bring their passion and creativity to our kitchen! You'll be an integral part of our team, prepping, cooking, and plating dishes with a smile. Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with planned menu.
• Record accurate temperatures.
• Follow cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
• Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation.
• Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents.
• Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Scrape, wash, and put away dishes.
• Follow proper safety protocol.
• Other duties assigned by manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a facility of 20+ residents.
• Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk for required shift.
• Must have Safe Serv Food Handler's certification. 
• Apply basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position.
• Requires knowledge of all kitchen equipment.

This job is ideal for someone who is dependable - (more reliable than spontaneous),

people-oriented -(enjoys interacting with people), and autonomous/independent - (enjoys working with little direction).
