Position: Resident Assistant (RA)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Cedar Hills Senior Living is seeking a caring, dependable, and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our team on weekend evenings. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our residents receive quality care, assistance, and companionship in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, and social engagement as needed.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks related to resident care.
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving, resident assistant, CNA, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
- Must pass background screening and meet employment requirements.
