Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our memory care facility. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents with their daily activities.
Duties

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with memory impairments. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents with their daily activities.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Engage residents in social activities and promote community involvement to enhance their well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs.
- Previous experience in memory care preferred.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices, including first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents in mobility as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the facility's schedule.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
